We are seeking a talented Market Analyst and Copywriter to join our dynamic e-commerce team. This dual-role position will focus on analyzing market trends and consumer behavior while crafting compelling copy that drives engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to communicate insights effectively through written content. Market Analyst Responsibilities Focused on Product for Copywriting
  • Product Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data on consumer preferences, product performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for enhancing product descriptions and marketing messages.
  • Insight Reporting: Analyze reports that highlight key insights related to product performance to inform and refine copywriting strategies.
  • Product Trend Identification: Review reports that monitor industry trends and competitor product offerings to incorporate relevant information into messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure that copy aligns with product features and benefits, enhancing overall marketing initiatives.
  • A/B Testing for Copy: Design and evaluate A/B tests specifically for product-related copy, assessing the effectiveness of different messaging and descriptions to optimize conversion rates.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or completion of relevant courses in these areas.
  • Experience: Experience in market analysis and copywriting, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel) and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio showcasing previous copywriting work.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SEO principles and experience with digital marketing tools.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Upon a successful interview process, you’ll enter a provisional period where you’ll work part-time (10 to 20 hours per week). This phase gives us time to observe your performance, adaptability, and synergy with our team before your final confirmation.
